Job Description

Responsibilities/Task:

• Preparation of Annual Budget and Business  plans.
• Preparation of production report, investment appraisals and product profitability.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounting reports on financial  performance report and variance analysis.
• Coordinate the movement of raw materials/finished goods from stores, warehouses and purchasing department.
• Preparation of  Project Appraisals and ad hoc expenditure requests from  management
• Preparation of  unit cost of production
• Preparation of vessel reports
• Perform stock taking
• Attend to and report on issues of raw materials, chemicals, spares etc used for production
• Surprise stock verification
• Budget Preparation
• Coding/Posting Review
• Quantitative Analysis Preparation
• Coding-Voucher PMT, IVS & Invoices

Key Performance Indicators

Quality of Report:

• Informative and timely budget reporting, stock reporting.
• Efficient financial managment standards and appraisal methods
• Completeness of fixed assets inventory/register.
• Accurancy in cash-flow estimates.
• Level of usage of managment reports for decision-making.

Control Management:

• No. of detected breaches in internal controls at factories
• No. of disparities in dispatch report.?

Budget Control

• Level of compliance with policy
• Number and Frequency of fraud
• Number and Frequency of Audit Queries

Financial record managment
